Honors, Awards and Invitations

Dorjan Dauti (thesis Tec21, supervised by S.Dal Pont) received the 1st prize award in the Empa PhD Symposium. Dorjan’s thesis is in collaboration with the EMPA of Zurich in Switzerland.

He said, “The event is called Empa PhD Symposium. It is an event organized once a year where PhD students from 30 labs at Empa (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Material Science and Technology) present their research work, either by a poster or an oral presentation. I attended with a poster and my poster was ranked 1st from the experts who are research scientists here at Empa. It is the first time that a participant from the Structural Engineer Lab (the lab which I belong here) wins an award in this symposium.
